My name is Kirby and like many people I've had dogs all my life. A poodle, a beagle, a cocker spaniel, and a chocolate lab. My last two dogs were father and son catahoula mixes I had each before they were 2 months old. The daddy's name was Boo and the biggest male of his litter he fathered; I named Radley. We had a good size back yard, but like most dogs they needed more than the same grass every day. So, on a cool fall afternoon I put them on their leashes, jumped on my longboard, and we took off! We flew down the street and must've gone 500 yards before the dogs began to slow pace. After a cool down jog and walk, we got back to the house and Boo and Rad each had a bowl of water and a good nap. The rest of the day my boys were smiling and better behaved. It was great to see them so happy. My boys lived to be 15 and 16 years old and I miss them every day. Time passed, and I got new board and another dog and what'dya know, he likes to skate too.

A dog's average walking speed is almost twice the average speed of a human. So even if your dog doesn't run while next to a handler on wheels, achieving their true personal walking speed, they can cover twice the distance they would if they were with someone just walking on foot. I've been riding the OneWheel electric skateboard for 4 years. On this board the rider controls the top speed and also the braking. Water is always carried with us on our run, and breaks will be given at least twice during the runs. We offer pictures and videos of your dog's runs, walks, and training sessions. You can also see all the lefts and rights of your dog's walk. For the runs you'll be able to see their route and how fast they ran and average speed. Every dog must pass an evaluation to determine the safety of them running with a handler on a skateboard. Also each rider must pass a competency evaluation with and without a dog before they're allowed clients.
