My name is Kirby and years ago I loved to skateboard. I had two dogs who were father and son, named Boo and Radley. They were Catahoula mixes who loved to run. We had a good size back yard, but these dogs needed more room. So, one day I put them on their leashes and jumped on my longboard, and they took off like little lightning bolts! We flew down the street and I had my fingers crossed there were no rocks in the road big enough to take me out. We must've gone 500 yards before we started to slow pace. The whole outing only lasted about 15-20 minutes after a cool down jog and walk, and it'd leave the dogs smiling for the rest of the day. It was so great to see them so happy. Boo and Rad were pretty energetic dogs and they did have some destructive behavior every now and then like chewing things they shouldn't, getting into the trash, and sometimes even fighting. Running them regularly helped greatly in decreasing all these occurrences and we all had a great time doing it. So, from then on, if we were all outside, we were skating. My boys lived to be 15 and 16 years old and I miss them every day. Time passed, and I got new board and another dog and what'dya know, he likes to skate too. The smiles these dogs wear when we're out, the memories I have of me and Boo and Radley, this is why I started Tails Up Pups.

We're different. Tails Up Pups offers great walks outside as well as actual exercise running. Come all ye high energy dogs, overweight dogs, stress inducers and leash pullers. So long as your pup is safe for us to handle, we can work with you. If not, email us about training and desensitizing.

We're safe. Trained on the OneWheel, we'll have a martingale collar and leash to your rider's hand, also a bungee leash attached to your dog's harness and their rider's waist just in case of a fall and the rider drops the nylon leash, your pup will still be tethered to someone.

We're unique. We offer pictures and videos of your dog's runs and training sessions. Also, through the app you can see the exact route that was taken for your walk, and for the runs you'll be able to see how fast and average speed.

We're insured and bonded. Every dog that rides with us must go through an evaluation to be sure it's safe to run them on the skateboard. Every rider must also pass an evaluation of competency also. However, accidents are a part of life, and we want every client to feel at ease that if something happens, we're here to help.

We're passionate. The reason Tails Up Pups is here, is because we love dogs, we love people, and we understand the role that the other's happiness plays in the other's life. Our dogs are family, and our family is paramount.
